Engine Performance problem
1997 Jaguar XJR V8 Automatic

When i start the car fumes and heat only comes from one tail pipe, the other side has very little pressure coming from it and the tail pipe never warms up, there seems to be no power loss when driving, but the symtons would suggest that only one side of the v8 engine is working, is this a problem.
