I recently purchased a 2001 Jaguar XJ8. Everything is fine with it except that the engine coolant level low light is constantly on. The car has not overheated so I'm guessing the sensor must be replaced or the hot weather here, 114F sometimes, doesn't help. Recently the ABS light came on along with trac control lights on the dashboard. When I turned it on again, the lights went away. Brakes have been squealing at times but nothing too high. Do I really need to take this car to a specialist or can it be fixed by any ASE mechanic? I'm a student and full time entry level worker, so the money isn't quite there to fix with a specialist. Should I get brakes checked out? How do I fix the coolant level low problem? Thank you.

Hi
ASE tech can handle. Brake squeal may indicate need for new pads. The coolant sensor is in resevoir may need cleaning.
Hope this helps
