2000 Jaguar XJ8 secondary timing chain tensioners

Hi, Is there a quick way to check whether my secondary cam chain tensioners have the later gen 2 or 3 type or must I take off the cam covers etc? I bought it second owner and dont have history?

there should be a sticker placed in the engine compartment !
