2000 Jaguar XJ8 rattling/pinking

my xj8 has been in to jaguar several tims due to a rattling/pinking noise when under load at around 25 - 40mph.
jaguar have no idea.. timing chains replace, no faults on diagnostics.. nothing.
but problem persists. all spark plugs etc changed.

problem started whe my transmission failed..had it fixed but noise still there.. any ideas

start by checking coolant and oil levels are good
