1995 Jaguar XJ8 Water pump

I am interested in purchasing the above car but it has a seized water pump. MOT last July and serviced but car has been more or less unused since August. Pump has stuck or seized. Can it be made to work without replacing the pump? Jaguar pumps are expensive.

you need to replace the pump .. beware of any other damage this could have caused !
