1997 Jaguar XJ6 Stalling

97 XJ6L 98000 miles starts good but stops/stalls when slowing down for stop or turn. I have taken to the deal several times replaced thermastat and a relay but same thing still happens.

I would suspect EGR valve bouncing or idle speed control unit.
