1995 Jaguar XJ6 6 cyl Wheel Drive Type unknown Automatic 120000 miles

The battery is dead and locatrd in the trunk,which opens electronically so I cannot get to it. How do I jump it from under the hood or from the engine?

on the top left side of firewall you see a positive pole
and use any part of body metal as negative.
