1995 Jaguar XJ6 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive 90,000 miles

when i insert my key in the ignition switch nothing happens.the key just stays locked in place and cannot be moved cw. or ccw. the battery is o.k.

try rocking steering wheel from left to reight while turning the key !! the barrel may have collapsed and needs replacing
