Engine problem
1994 Jaguar XJ6 6 cyl Wheel Drive Type unknown Automatic 78,000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
Something is draining my battery. Our tire shop checked out the battery, alternator, etc and said everything was okay. Next day battery was dead again. There is one clue, but nobody knows what it means re the battery. An amber light stays on that says "bulb failure". Can't see any bulbs that are out.
Got any ideas?

Hi there,

place an Amp gauge between battery (+) and the battery cable, check amp draw with doors closed & key off, (you may need to remove boot light globe for this test) If Amp draw is over .25 Amps start pulling fuses to isolate the suspect circuit, the globe out warning may be a faulty relay stuck on causing the current draw.
