After engine heats up to operating temperature and runs for an hour or so, we get a miss in one or two cylinders. Acceleration is sluggish and fuel economy drops drastically.

Hi there,

i would get the ignition tested on an oscilloscope hot to check for any problems, also have the fuel rail pressure tested for a faulty injector, check all other tune items as well start here.
