Electrical problem
1988 Jaguar XJ6 Two Wheel Drive 89,000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
rear left turn signal light works intermitting. flasher flashes fast then slow then fast then really fast. Checked fuse and replace all bulbs. Also left rear brake light will not light up when brake depressed. Backup light works and rear night light works. signal and brake bulbs are rhe same. Could the flasher be bad and causing it to work intermittingly. Ihave check wiring connections they appear to be ok.

you probably have a bad turn signal switch/hazard switch that is causing the problem.
