Electrical problem
1985 Jaguar XJ6 6 cyl Automatic 84500 miles

I packed luggage into my 85' Jaguar trunk for a trip. It was filled to the brim with bags. I forced it shut and now I cannot get it to open. The key works and the trunk lever depresses but nothing happens. Please help...

Have you tried having someone pushing down on the trunk lid while you turn the key? Don't try to pry it open, you will do more harm than good.
