1976 Jaguar XJ6 Air Conditioning

Airconditioning and Hi- speed fan select stopped working yesterday.
Fuses check out, but there is no power to the magnetic clutch on the compressor and blower does not come on.
I've had this car for close to thirty years and baby it.
I like doing maintenance myself but with electrical I am in over my head.
If anyone can point me in the right direction I would be much appreciative.

Have you checked the a/c relay. This will control your a/c clutch and I believe the blower relay. It may be under the hood 0n the passenger side of the radiator.
