Engine Performance problem
2005 Jaguar X-Type 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 80K miles
2.0 Diesel. Misfires at around 2000rpm and pushes out a lot of smoke under hard acceleration.Doesn't misfire under acceleration.Have changed the egr valve which was very sooty but problem exists.No engine management lights show and no engine error codes shown when diagnostics are checked.
Any ideas gratefully received
