2003 Jaguar X-Type 6 cyl

I was driving down my street one night when I didnt see a rock in the middle of the road. when I pulled into my drive and try to place it in park it would not move. the shifter will only move down and not up into park or nutral

check for damaged linkage on the cable and trans shift connector
