instrument cluster

hello... i had problems with my instrument cluster and purchased one online. when i installed the new one i got a message about security problems and the car won't start now. do i have to pair the new cluster with the car or key? whats going on here?....thank you.

Hello,

Yes the instrument cluster needs to be programmed to the car for the car to start and work right. The dealer or a shop will need to do this for you it should cost about $120.00'
