Transmission problem
1998 Jaguar Vanden Plas V8 93,000 miles

I have been getting the message, Transmission Fault, on my car....also am having trouble with the gears.....
Is the transmission going? I now have an engine warning coming up. Am afraid to drive it

You answered someone else that there was "no tranmission fault"... So what is it trying to tell me?

you need to have the vehicle plugged into a diagnsotic computer to locate the cause of the fault !
