Air Conditioning problem
1998 Jaguar Vanden Plas V8 110k miles

I have to replace the a/c schrader valve closest to the dash. it has the smallest fitting. I had to remove a cover to get to it. I charged it w/ dye and it lasted about two days. lots of dye around this fitting. the other is closest to the radiator and it has the larger fitting. my question is which is high side and which is low side?

Hi saycom, The large fitting is the high side and the small fitting is the lowside. sometimes you can just replace the valve and other times the valve is incorperated into the hose so you have to replace the whole thing. good luck!
