How do I check the relay, I here it click when I change to high beam but not certain it's working, have test lite an multi meter but don't know how to check. A new relay is 150.00 which is crazy for a headlight relay, so am trying everything first, thank you for your help, will donate more if I can fix it. G>L>

Check for voltage across headlight fuse that is not on. If present check at light if not then wiring is suspect.
