2005 Jaguar S-Type 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

how do I replace the battery.? I understand it is in the trunk.

Hi there,

You can get a 9 volt battery adapter to plug into the cig lighter to safe memory for radio, clock and ECU if applicable, Do this with the ACC on(NOT IGNITION) then undo the battery cables, and the battery clamp, keep pos clear of any body work. fit battery in well and clamp down, fit pos and neg terminals and make sure that they are tight. remove memory saver and start car all should be ok.
