traction control light displays dsc not available. took to mechanic he says something maybe wrong in the computer

They will always point the finger at the computer. This is usually the last thing that is wrong. Get the diagnostic trouble codes and distription from the shop and reply back. It could be a steering angle sensor as I've seen that before on this model year.
