I am losing about 1 qrt of coolant per day. I don't see nay leak on the ground or around the radiator. I've recently replaced the cap. Could this be a thermostat problem? How can I tell if that is the challemge. How about the water pump?

Hello,

You need to first do a pressure test of the cooling system.
A pressure test will crate pressure in the cooling system similar to when the vehicle is at operating temperature.
That way any leak will be easy to detect.
The pressure test should be done when the engine is cold.
You can rent those pressure testers at your local auto parts store.

Here is a video guide of how to perform the test:

Please let me know of any questions.
Thank you.
