CABIN AIR FILTER
Removal & Installation (2000-2006)
Remove wiper arm retaining nut cover. See Fig. 1.

Remove wiper arm retaining nut. Using 2-jawed puller, remove wiper arms.
On models built after 02-2004, disconnect washer hose. See Fig. 2. On all models, remove cowl vent screen retaining screw covers. See Fig. 3.

Remove the cowl vent screen. See Fig. 4.

Open the cabin air filter housing coverby releasing the retaining tangs. See Fig. 5.

Remove the cabin air filter. See Fig. 6.
To install the cabin air filter, reverse removal procedure. Make sure the new cabin air filter is fitted correctly, with the air flow markings on the cabin air filter showing the direction of air flow. See Fig. 6. Ensure wiper arms are correctly aligned with alignment mark on windshield. Tighten wiper arm nut to 13 ft. Lbs. (17 N.M).
