Sometimes the engine on my S Type Jag will run unevenly at idle. Also it will lose power when I accelerate until I take my foot off the throttle and reapplying revs will normalise things for a few seconds but then the problem comes back. No engine warning light comes on. It usually happens when the weather is damp or wet... but not always. Could this be a problem with the engine management system in that there is possibly something wrong with the air flow and or sensors?
