brake and side indicator lights stays on even when the

Check in the trunk for the transit relay connector hanging down. It will be located between the battery and the body. These have a tendency to corrode up (also may have water in the boot). If that's not the problem, there is a fuse in the boot fuse box (unsure of the location # or positon) that may be open causing a voltage back feed.
