RESETTING THE ONBOARD COMPUTER

JAGUAR XKR, 05, 16,000 MILES.........4.2 LITER
HAD MY 0EM PULLEY REPLACED WITH A ENHANCED SUPERCHARGER PULLEY........ DID NOT NOT NOTI CE A DIFFERENCE.........I READ SOMEWHERE THAT YOU MUST RESET THE COMPUTER BY DISCONECTING THE NEGATIVE CABLE FOR ABOUT ONE MINUTE.......NOT SURE.......CAN YOU GIVE ME SOME FEEDBACK ON THE PROPER WAY TO ENGAGE THE NEW PULLEY WITH MY CAR .......THANKS...........AL

depending on the year, you can reset the computer by disconnecting the negative side of the battery, on newer cars you will have to drive appox 50 miles before the computer completly resets. try taking disconnecting the negative side and leave it off for a about 10 minutes, then reattaching it,
