2004 Other Jaguar Models Rear Parking Sensors

I recently bought a used 2004 Jaguar S-type and I love it. I noticed that the Parking sensors never work when I am backing up close to anything. I wonder if there is a loose wire or if the sesnors are even properly connected. Can you please help?

check there are wires going to the sensors
