Engine Performance problem
2004 Other Jaguar Models Four Wheel Drive Automatic 36100 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
I have a Jaguar X Type and the oil light flickers on when I step on the gas but it does not stay on. I checked the oil and it is at the correct level with 3200 miles since my last oil service change. What could be the problem and can I change the sensor myself if that is what the problem is?

Hi there,

i would have the oil pressure tested with a master gauge first , this will give a true indication as to the engine oil pressure. When this is know, you can decide on a course of action,
