I recently had my car checked because the check engine light is on. It was diagnosed that I had a MAF problem and was advised to try cleaning it before replacing it. Can the MAF sensor be removed and cleaned DIY?

MAF is located on throttle body and can be removed easily and cleaned .. but this is a delicate sensor it needs to be cleaned with care
