Hi, I`ve got a 2003 model (53 plate) x type jag 2.0 diesel.
The car has been stood for about 2 months. When I came to start her up, she fired up first time without any hesitation.
But the ABS warning light is on, the brake warning light is on, none of the heater controls, wash/wipe or climate controls are working, the cruise control is unavailable, the speedo isn`t working, the rear brake lights, reversing lights, rear fog lights and reverse parking sensors are not working. All other systems are working fine though, including sat nav, rear side lights, indicators and headlights.
The battery is fine and I`ve carried out an ECU reboot, but this hasn`t cured the problem. Does anybody know if the faulty systems share a common wiring loom etc.
Many thanks.
