My X type starting getting poor AM reception a while back. It is OK for FM, and for AM stations with very strong signals. Lots of background chirping noises on the marginal AM stations (which used to come in fine). A car radio fixit place said the connection is automatically made between the front windshield and something in the dash, and they couldn't do anything. Can anything be done?
