2001 Other Jaguar Models Engine has a knock on it!

It's 01 Jaguar S-Type when you start the engine it sounds fine but when you have been driving for about 5 minutes it starts to get a knock when your are stoped and when you are driving that you accelerate it starts to tumble, if any body has any suggestions please help it's a nice car and low mileage I don't want to get rid of it.

Is it a tapping, clicking, thudding,thumping noise? also where is the noise is most pronounce at? upper or lower part of the engine.
