2000 Other Jaguar Models TIMING CHAIN REPAIRS

Dealer replaced leaking valve cover gasket and upper tensioner.

I was told that they need to replace the chain due to break. I declined all timing chain repairs.

Is it safe to drive my car?

damage can occur to engine if the timing chain does break !!
