We are getting a message restricted performance and we are unable to drive our car faster than about 45 without it jerking or missing

have the vehicle plugged into a diagnostic computer to locate the cause of the fault ... could be a simple coil failure .. the fault codes stored ont the cars computer will pinpoint the cause
