I recently lost a transmission. the tramission fault light went on(amber), then the check engine light(amber) shortly thereafter just as the vehicle cars manuel indicates it should.
After transmission was replaced, the computer couldn't be reprogramed because of a faulty throttle body.
The throttle body was replaced but the failsafe mode and engine light remain on and won't accept a reset. ( I believe it still indicats additional throttle body work reqired.
mechanic was aware of problem when car was brought in but seems to be stumped as to how to deal with the rest. He says the computer won't accept a reset. This car has been to the local jaguar dealer.....then to Aamco....then back to dealer....and now is at a jaguar specialist that has been in business for many (30?) years. HELP!!!
