Dashboard not working

So my first question is my dashboard is not working so it does not tell me how fast I am going. The check engine light is on the only thing that works. Its how much gas it has also when I turn the wheel to the left all the way it turns off, but it does not start back up. I have not tried turning the wheel to see if it starts back up I just turn it back up with the key.

It sounds like you have steering wheel angle sensor that is shorting out because you turn the wheel and it effects the car which is the only part that can do that. Here is a guide to help you see what you are in for when doing the job. Here is what it will be like for your car.
