1995 Isuzu Trooper starts when it wants

I turn the key and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt I have a new battery, new relay. Had the battery checked and is good.

Did you meant it cranks over and w/n start or won't crank at all/nothing at times?

NOTHING at times nothing let it set for two or three days and it may start once or twice and then dead doesnt crank or click nothing. But everything else works turn the lights on turn the key lights dont dim they stay on

Double check battery and connections if okay probable causes could be the starter, starter relay, park and neutral switch and ignition switch.
