1993 Isuzu Trooper Just lost power going down the freeway

Car still turns over, but there was a burnt wiring smell and it just lost power...Any ideas where to start looking?

Hi there,

I would check the timing belt and if that is ok, check for spark, if no spark check coil and ignition wiring.
