1990 Isuzu Trooper Four Wheel Drive Manual

I have recently aquired a 1990 Isuzu trooper. The car starts up fine but once you shift to 3rd geer it just stops and has no go. This would be my first car and first time working on a car. I am not sure what I should do here I am trying to find out as much as I can but I would like a little help thanks!

Do you have a check engine light and when was the last major tune-up?

First timer-Do you have a repair manual if not you can download it here-No manual means no reference. Its gonna be hard.

Okay for a start check the fuel pressure and report back the fuel pressures before we can continue. I need this information this is where we start troubleshooting.
