When I purchased this vehicle the Air pump was removed, along with all the hoses. What remains is the tube that runs along the valve cover that connects to the head by 4 small tubes that screw in near the exhaust ports. Question. Can remove this and screw in threaded plugs to the head?

Hi there,

Those plugs are blocking the air injection ports into the exhaust chambers, you can not remove them and run the engine.
