1986 Isuzu Trooper Engine won't idle

Just finished a 400 mile trip. When I pulled up to a traffic light, the engine died. Starts right up, but i have to keep rpms at 2k or engine dies. Found and eliminated several cracked or loose vacuum hoses. Still no idle. Lack of power on take off.
