2003 Isuzu Rodeo Question 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a code that appeared on the computer, 1290 Manufacture Controlled Fuel and Air Metering. Was told that this could be in the wiring harness. Do you know anything about this?

DTC P1290 : Electric Throttle Control - Forced Idle Mode

Can be caused by damaged wiring to the PCM or faulty AP (accelerator position) sensor
