2002 Isuzu Rodeo Question Major MPG Drop

I recently changed my spark plugs & Connectors. I also changed my O2 sensor. My fuel milage has dropped to 12 mpg. New I used to get 20 mpg. Is there any suggestions as to how to get better mpg's? Check Engine Light was on, but now has been off for a couple of weeks.

I am assuming you are talking about highway mileage? That vehicle was rated at 15 city, 19 highway.Always start with tire pressure, low tires are a major cause of poor mileage.Since it has been tuned up, the engine should be running smoothly, so it may not be the problem.Has any other work been done to it?
