My husband just put a new fuel pump in my car and it still will not crank. the people that sold the part said that sometimes when replaced the computer will not register the new fuel pump and the computer would have to be defragged. Does this sound remotely right?

Hello,

No, I have Never heard of such a thing.

Ok, you say you vehicle won't crank, are you saying that it will turn over, just won't start.

If so what has your husband checked?
