2001 Isuzu Rodeo Question 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive 130000 miles

Recently my back wiper wouldnt turn off and would not stop until my car was turned off for about 5 minutes, now I noticed my dome lights dont turn on, and it doesnt ding when my lights get left on or when the key is in the ignition, my fog lights also wont stay on just flicker. Now it takes a while to start, and idles low when first started, and it stops sometimes when not given gas. It seems as the more days go on the worse it gets. What might be causing this?

Hi lequam,

For the rear wiper to stay on, it could be due to a fault with the Alarm and relay control unit, located above right kick panel.

For the lights on warning indicator and dome light not turning on, check if the door switch is working correctly. Check if the dome light can be turned on manually.

For the fog lights flickering, check the relay, it could be failing.

For the low idling, check the Idle Air Control valve. It could be dirty and sticking. Get it cleaned and retest.

For difficult starting, check the fuel pressure.
