2000 Isuzu Rodeo Question transmission stuck in reverse

My transmission stays in reverse in any gear shift position,even in nutural,I looked under the car at the transmission linkage and it moves with the selecter lever.Can you tell me what the problem may be.

Hi there,

this will be more than likely be a stuck shift valve with in the transmission valve body, you will need to have a transmission specialist inspect this for you.
