My Rodeo has a mild dent in the oil pan but no leaks anywhere I can notice nor is it burning oil. I changed my oil and added 4 quarts then another quart a couple weeks later. I checked my dip stick each time but I could not find any oil on it? Usually when I check A dipstick I can clearly see a thick layer of oil where it should be, but on mine it's almost impossible to see. Is there something wrong, or can I just not read my dipstick?

No, the oil light hasn't ever came on

Fresh oil is often translucent. If the oil pressure light is going out then there is probably oil pressure. I have the same type of issue as I find I cant sit at the computer screen or read the paper without glasses, I just cant see as well as when I was in my 20's and 30's.
