1998 Isuzu Rodeo Question no dip stick

Transmission problem
1998 Isuzu Rodeo Question 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

This car has no dip stick under the hood. So how do you check the fluid level and condition???????
And if you then need to change fluid, how do you do so? I see two plugs at bottom of pan. Is the recessed plug used to check and add transmission fluid? Please help. I have 6 cars to maintain and I can not afford $180 for a flush and fill.

engine oil or transmission oil? if your talking transmission your best taking it in to have the tranny fluid checked.
