1998 Isuzu Rodeo Question 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

i just changed my fuel filter in the car not sure if i put it going in the flow direction but now two days later the gauges are going all over and my check engin light keep coming on ,what can this be

Hi there,

The fuel filter should have a flow direction indicated, but this will not cause this problem, i would check all the power & earth connections and do a scan start here.
