I was trying to find a problem in my hitch lights and the tail lights on the vehicle stopped working, checked fuses, bulb good because brake lights and signals work no tail lights. one diode looks broken, but don't know if that's connected to problem. at a loss what di I look for or do?

Hi jtheodoroff,

The taillight and brake lights work on separate circuits, it is a two in one bulb. Are the front combination lights working? If they are, then should be the bulbs.

If the fuses are ok, check for a faulty relay or switch.
